Bridgewater On LoddonPostcode: 3516 Bridgewater On Loddon is a town in north central Victoria, Australia. The town is located on the Calder Freeway, north west of Bendigo, astride the Loddon River. At the 2001 Census, Bridgewater has a population of 404.
Situated on the Calder Highway only half an hour’s drive north from Bendigo, Bridgewater on Loddon is a convenient base for exploring the area's goldfields, wineries and state parks or just mucking about on or alongside the river.
The Kooyoora State Park and Melville Caves lie just south of the town and the Terrick Terrick National Park is to the north. Covering 2500ha between Pyramid Hill and Mitiamo, Terrick conserves an isolated and significant remnant of native vegetation which includes white cypress pine, grey box, yellow box and Dan’s wattle.
