Colo is a small town located north-west of Sydney in New South Wales, Australia. It is home to the Colo River and parts of the Wollemi National Park. The main road through Colo is Putty Road.

The population of the Colo Valley (Colo, Upper Colo and Central Colo) is 593 (Census 2001).

The spectacular Colo Region, locally known as adventure country, offers accommodation, shops and many outdoor recreation activities. From paintball skirmish to horse riding, 4WD touring, canoeing, abseiling and bushwalking. Or just have a simple family picnic, next to one of the last pristine river systems in New South Wales.

This area comprises of the Wollemi and Yengo National Parks and the Parr State Recreation Area.
