EleebanaPostcode: 2282 Eleebana is a small town in the City of Lake Macquarie in New South Wales. It is situated on the shores of Lake Macquarie.
Eleebana remained unsettled until it became part of the Newcastle/Lake Macquarie urban sprawl, due to its unsuitability for agriculture. The first school opened in 1955.
The land was poor and steep and unsuitable for agriculture and remained unsettled. However, as was usual in those times, Halloran sold boatshed leases on the waterfront fronting Croudace Bay and sheds were built there and occupied during the summer. The council had difficulty in negotiating their removal after World War 11. Their sites were eventually added to Thomas H. Halton Park, Croudace Bay.
