Fingal BayPostcode: 2315 Fingal Bay is the eastern-most suburb of the Port Stephens LGA in the Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales, Australia. The suburb, which is immediately south of Port Stephens, is named after the adjacent, small, semi-circular bay.
The northern part of the bay is within the Tomaree National Park. The northern head is Fingal Spit and Point Stephens, the southern head is Fingal Head (not to be confused with Fingal Head in far northern NSW). Fingal Spit was a location for the So where the bloody hell are you? advertising campaign filmed for Tourism Australia and appears at the end of the advertisement.
Fingal Bay itself is the most eastern township in Port Stephens, it is surrounded by National Park and has a majestic bay and patrolled surfing beach and is just 5 minutes from the heart of Nelson Bay and a stones throw away from Shoal Bay.
Fingal Bay Holiday Park located across the road from the beach offers all the convenience of a first class holiday resort in a stunning natural bushland setting. Accommodation ranges from luxury fully equipped beach houses to camping site. For more information about this town, click here |
