Salamander Bay is a suburb and large shallow bay located on Port Stephens in the Hunter Valley Region of New South Wales, Australia, in Port Stephens Shire. It mostly consists of housing but it also has a shopping centre, which has recently been expanded. It is home to the local High School and TAFE.
