Tottenham is a small town in Lachlan Shire in the Central West of New South Wales, Australia. It had a population of 307 in 2001, including 18 indigenous people (6%) and 22 foreign born people (6%).

It lies in wheat-growing country and is at the end of a railway line from Bogan Gate, completed in 1916.

Tottenham is at the heart of some of the best merino sheep breeding and growing areas in the country. It’s out here that you’ll find several famous studs that have been producing fine wool for more than 100 years - Haddon Rig, Raby, Egelabra and Buttabone Stud Park. If you like to mix your holiday time with a bit of hard yakka, you can stay on a farm near here. Haddon Rig, perhaps the most famous merino stud of them all, is only too happy to welcome guests. The town of Narromine, about 70km east, is centred on a sheep and cattle station once owned by William Charles Wentworth, explorer, emancipist and politician. A local aerodrome here, used as an RAAF base during World War II, has been taken over by gliders who swear by the winds. Near the town of Trangie, about 50km north-east, there's a wide stretch of river near the Gin Gin Weir which has a generous, natural sandy beach which is a popular bathing and picnicking spot with the locals.
