Valla

Postcode: 2448

Valla is a village (population 814) situated in the Nambucca Valley, Mid North Coast, New South Wales, Australia in Nambucca Shire.

The nearby Valla Beach is well-known for its quality surf. Valla Beach is a typical regional seaside village with only one pub, a hairdresser, bakery, real estate agent, general store, community preschool and a caravan park.

Valla Beach is basically divided into 4 beaches, know to locals as 'North', 'Middle' and 'South'. South provides good large surf, especially when the waves are travelling from the south. It also holds the river mouth so it can get dirty after rain. This means that surfers should keep an eye out for the presence of sharks. Middle is very rocky, making it more of a 'locals only' area. It is made up of reefs which each have informal names. North, obviously is on the northern side of Valla Beach. It can get some good breaks off its sandbanks, especially when it is pumping.
