Arana Hills is a suburb north-west of Brisbane, the capital city of Queensland, Australia, and is located at the edge of the Bunyaville Forest Reserve. Its local government area is the Pine Rivers Shire.
Arana Hills is almost entirely a residential suburb, served by several neighbourhood shopping villages, with other services catered for by Brookside Shopping Centre 3 km to the east. It contains two primary schools, Patricks Road and Pine Community School, with high schools located just beyond its borders in Ferny Grove and Mitchelton.
It is also one of the last suburbs in the Greater Brisbane Area to have a Pizza Hut restaurant (as opposed to the more common Take Away stores).
