Postcode: 4650

Bauple is a small town, just south of Tiaro in South Burnett. Bauple is a picturesque town, with Mount Bauple dominating the skyline and endless fields of green sugar cane that patchwork the landscape.

Even though sugar is the main industry, Bauple actually borrows its name from the Macadamia Nut – they were first discovered here in 1858 and are known locally as Bauple Nuts.

The mountain that looms over the town is known as Mount Bauple and is a place of particular significance to the local aborigines. Mount Bauple National Park is currently only accessible for scientific study.

Other attractions include the Bauple Mountain Fairies and the Mount Bauple District Historical Museum.
