Bli Bli is a locality in the Sunshine Coast conurbation in Queensland, Australia. A few kilometres inland from the Maroochy area, Bli Bli is surrounded by wetland and cane.

Its name means “many swamp oak trees” in the indigenous language.

Bli Bli is notable for the castle that has been built as a tourist attraction in the village. It is not authentically mediaeval.

While in Bli Bli be sure to take a cruise through the Maroochy Wet Lands Sanctuary, or walk the boardwalks through swamps and mangroves. Wheelchair access is provided via the boardwalk for part of the way. For those wanting to add a little bit of history into their holiday, make sure to visit the Bli Bli castle and it’s many medieval features including drawbridge and moat, dungeon, and torture chamber.

Also located at the Bli Bli Castle is a doll museum featuring animated dancing dolls and dolls in national costume. For the dare devils, try the cable waterski park. Here you can learn wake boarding, knee boarding, skurfing or water skiing. For a more relaxing experience try your luck at catching a big Barramundi or Muller Park provides a leash free area to spend the day with your pets.
