Cooloola Shire Council is a Local Government Area in Queensland, Australia. The shire covers the area along the Queensland coast between Noosa and Maryborough. The administrative centre of the shire is Gympie.

The shire was established in 1993 as a result of the amalgamation of the Gympie City Council and Widgee Shire Council.
