Pullenvale

Roughly 15 km out from the Brisbane CBD or Central Business District, Pullenvale covers an area of approximately 24.4 km². Featuring a prestige rural lifestyle it is a favored address for residents who wish to experience a rural lifestyle while still being close enough to Brisbane to not inhibit professional work options.

Pullenvale is situated approximately 15km out from the CBD of Queensland’s capital city Brisbane. Located in the southern foothills of Mt Elphinstone, Pullenvale features rolling hills and areas of dense bush land.

Pullenvale started out as an area useful only for its resources of timber and became an early logging area. This changed due to the addition of the Moggill Rd that would act as a link between Brisbane though Moggill to Ipswich. As the road was built the area became accessible and the timber industry gave way to small crop farming and dairying thereby causing an influx in population and the establishment of the Pullenvale State School in 1873. This caused a rural residential style of living to emerge and the school was rebuilt in 1981 to cater for the increasing population density.

In modern day the Pullenvale area is still growing as many people are attracted to the large prestige properties that are the hallmark of this area situated in beautiful bush land.
