Located in the Devonport area of Tasmania, Aberdeen is in the Latrobe local government area, and within the electoral seat of Lyons.

Aberdeen is a small rural locality within Devonport in the North-west and west of Tasmania.

When in Aberdeen, make sure to pay a visit to the Spreyton Cider Co. The company produces premium Tasmanian ciders from their own orchards. While there, sign up for Cider tastings, visitors can try their selection of ciders and ginger beer.
