Bakers Beach

Located in the Devonport area of Tasmania, Bakers Beach is in the West Tamar local government area, and within the electoral seat of Braddon.

Bakers Beach is a small rural community within Latrobe in the North West region of Tasmania.

The main tourist attraction in the area is the Coastal Traverse, a 7 – 9 hour, 21 kilometres trek in the coastal border of Narawntapu National Park between Bakers Beach and Greens Beach.

Bakers Beach is 270 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three hours of travel via National Highway 1.

At the 2021 national census, the population of 7307 (Including Bakers Beach) was 11849 people. Out of those, 5743 were male and 6107 were female.
