Located in the Devonport area of Tasmania, Beauty Point is in the West Tamar local government area, and within the electoral seat of Bass.

Beauty Point is a small town by the Tamar River and a part of the municipality of West Tamar Council. Located in the north-east of Tasmania, Australia.

Located in this part of the town, in the wharf on Kanamaluka or River Tamar is Seahorse World. This is the world’s first seahorse aquarium, with a star cast of delicate seahorses and seadragons. In the neighbouring establishment is the Platypus House, make sure to join in on the fun and learning with the educational tour about Tasmanian Platypuses and Echidnas.

Beauty Point is 247 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three hours of travel via National Highway 1.
