Beechford
Located in the North East area of Tasmania, Beechford is in the West Tamar local government area, and within the electoral seat of Bass.
Beechford is a rural locality within George Town located in the Launceston region of Tasmania.
This beautiful part of Tasmania, with its warm, relatively dry micro-climate and stunning beach and conservation areas, is still “undiscovered” by tourism, leaving visitors to enjoy the area relatively undisturbed. The area has been also declared as part of the Five Mile Bluff conservation area thus use of vehicles on the beach are already illegal unless wil be used to launch or retrieve a vessel.
Beechford is 256 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three hours of travel via National Highway 1.
