Located in the West Coast area of Tasmania, Beulah is in the West Coast local government area, and within the electoral seat of Lyons.

Beulah is a small township located on the north-west coast of Tasmania just south of Devonport. The area is located under the foothills of Mount Roland.

Beulah is 262 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three hours of travel via National Highway 1.

At the 2021 national census, the population of 7306 (Including Beulah) was 4276 people. Out of those, 2200 were male and 2072 were female.
