Blackwood Creek is a rural locality within the Northern Midlands in the Central region of Tasmania. It is a small community at the base of the Great Western Tiers in Tasmania.

Blackwood Creek is 180 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within two and a half hours of travel via Highland Lakes Road/A5 and Poatina Road/B51.
