Located in the Devonport area of Tasmania, Preston is in the Waratah/Wynyard local government area, and within the electoral seat of Braddon.

Preston is a village located in the Central Coast Council in the North West region of Tasmania.

Hop for a short walk to visit the Delaney Falls/Upper Preston Falls, this is only about 300-metres trek, following a gentle decline in the trail. On this short walk, you’ll see beautiful fern trees and tranquil flowing creeks.

Preston, TAS is 315 kilometres from the capital city of Hobart and can be reached within three and a half hours of travel time via National Highway 1.
